This is an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Practitioner to join the Urgent Treatment Centre team, based in Weymouth.
The team pride themselves on providing Urgent Care for minor injuries and illness and covers a service operating 0800-2000.
The UTC is recognised as delivering a high standard of excellent clinical care in the community, undertaking a range of extended skills and point of care testing.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The DBS levies a charge of £40 and the Trust will recover this cost in instalments from your first 3 salary payments.
Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service and are able to present a valid DBS certificate will not incur a charge.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
The postholder will have regular contact with vulnerable people and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
