An opportunity has arisen for a qualified District Nurse/Community Sister to manage the patient caseload and community nursing team within the Weymouth and Portland Locality. You will be responsible for leading a team of Community Staff Nurses and Health Care Assistants to provide nursing care to patients in their home environment.  You will also gain extensive experience working within the Hub on a multiprofessional level.

The post requires excellent communication skills, the ability to show flexibility with duties and have strong leadership, decision making skills and clinical expertise. The ability to work flexible hours including weekends and bank holidays is also required.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The DBS levies a charge of £44 and the Trust will recover this cost in instalments from your first 3 salary payments. This will only apply to candidates who are new to the Trust and not internal staff.
