Are you passionate about developing top quality healthcare and finding new ways to improve NHS services for local people?

We are looking for two enthusiastic, compassionate, flexible and motivated individuals to join the new Quality Improvement team at Dorset Healthcare. The roles will offer a unique and exciting opportunity to help to establish, implement & deliver a range of Quality Improvement activities, development and training, whilst also providing opportunities to support frontline staff to lead small scale QI projects. You will share your ideas and experience to positively contribute to the wider development and implementation of the QI team and QI approach across the Trust.

You will be experienced in Quality Improvement methodologies and work closely with colleagues, internally and externally, to support delivery of outstanding patient care. You’ll act as a champion for the people who use our services, ensuring their voice is strong in all developments and engaging them to co-produce improvements and solutions.

Working closely alongside frontline staff, you will be committed to working effectively with others to build a culture that values and empowers staff at all levels to lead improvements.  Excellent communication, facilitation, organisational and negotiation skills are vital to these roles.

You will have an understanding of both the clinical implications of proposed changes resulting from QI projects and the impact such changes might trigger in other parts of the system, demonstrating a good understanding of the complexity and challenges in designing and delivering healthcare. You will have an interest in thinking innovatively and working with others to develop new ways of working, continuously striving to improve services, systems and performance.

If you’re up for the challenge and you’d like to join us in the beautiful county of Dorset for this exciting stage of our QI journey, we’d like to hear from you.

Interview date to be the 24th and 25th July 2018.
