Are you looking for a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy role working in the beautiful county of Dorset, near to some of the best beaches in the UK, areas of outstanding natural beauty, with the excitement of coastal towns such as Bournemouth or Poole and peaceful market towns like Shaftesbury and Sherborne. If you take up a role in Dorset HealthCare’s Physiotherapy teams, we can support your move to the area, offering up to £5,000 in our relocation package.

With two vacancies on offer, we are seeking interest in either full or part time Band 6 or Band 5 posts. Whether you are just starting out in your career or seeking a new challenge, we can support your career development with opportunities as you develop to move up to Band 7 extended scope roles in our Dorset MSK interface service and up to Band 8a MSK Primary care practitioner roles. Our joined up MSK and Pain services provide a range of career development opportunities if you were to join our team.

With a wealth of excellent knowledge within the Community Physio teams we can support your clinical supervision and offer the chance to learn in small friendly teams. We also make the most of links to Bournemouth and Southampton universities to access accredited CPD courses such as non-medical prescribing and injection therapy.

If you are not quite ready to commit to Outpatient MSK physio in your career just yet, then give us a call to discuss opportunities to learn in a rotational position alongside Community rehab teams, if this is your preference. We have the chance to create rotational positions if this is of interest to you.

In return we can also offer you:

• Dedicated career pathways and great opportunities for continuing professional development

• You will receive a comprehensive and structured induction programme and training

• NHS pension scheme

• Holiday pay of up to 33 days, plus bank holidays pro rata, dependent on service

• NHS discount and salary sacrifice scheme

• Not forgetting our unique selling point – our Trust beach huts located along the famous Sandbanks coastline

If you are interested in working in one of the most beautiful parts of the country we also offer a generous relocation package of up to £5,000 – please email dhc.careers@nhs.net for more information.
