The successful candidate will be required to provide 2nd Level IT support to the Trust’s IT Windows 10 Project. A sound knowledge of desktop and server operating systems such as Windows 7 and 10, Server 2008 and 2012 is essential as well as a good understanding of IP networking. Additional development, design and implementation of IT infrastructure including systems deployment, mobile / wireless infrastructure and telecommunications may be required as the role develops.
Travel to sites around Dorset will be required and although car ownership is essential the ability to visit any customer or partner site is a requirement of the post, so a full valid driving license and access to a vehicle to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
