Dorset HealthCare NHS Trust is pleased to offer a new and exciting opportunity for an Apprenticeship Co-ordinator role within the Learning and Development Service.
The successful candidate will work within our dedicated team who lead on Employability and Apprenticeship Programmes across the Trust. We are looking for an excellent communicator to join out friendly, positive and supportive team.
Apprenticeships are expanding and changing all the time so we are looking for an individual who is adaptable, flexible, positive, enthusiastic and passionate about apprenticeships and further education.
The role will be based in the Trust Headquarters in Poole, however the successful candidate will be required to work across the Trust to promote and support Apprenticeships for a range of our services.
The main purpose of the role will include:
- To be responsible for the co-ordination of supporting, implementing, recording and reporting of apprenticeship standards within a wide range of service areas across the organisation.
- To work with Service areas and wider corporate functions to raise the profile of Apprenticeship opportunities and to support our current and future workforce development.
- Develop & maintain close working relationships and work collaboratively with the wider L&D team, managers across the Trust, a variety of Learning Providers, Partner Trusts and Organisations to meet the Trust’s workforce development goals.
- To liaise with a variety of learning providers to support seamless enrolments and high quality delivery.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to complete a Level 4 qualification alongside their role to support personal and professional development.
