If you are a third year Occupational Therapy Student searching for the best place to start your career, or if you are already qualified and would like the opportunity to join our well-respected therapy team, then look no further. Dorset Healthcare Trust require an Occupational Therapist to work as part of a six monthly rotation with Poole Hospital NHS Trust, Bournemouth & Poole Community Therapy Team, Poole Intermediate Care Service, Alderney Rehabilitation Wards and Social Services.

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a team dealing with complex discharges from hospitals as well as working with acute illness preventing acute hospital admissions and facilitating in the community. The rotations may include adult/elderly care rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation and acute care.

The role is full-time, working 37.5 hours per week, including shift and weekend working.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The DBS levies a charge of £44 and the Trust will recover this cost in instalments from your first 3 salary payments.
