Dorset Healthcare Trust require an Occupational Therapist to work as part of a six monthly rotation with Poole Hospital NHS Trust, Bournemouth & Poole Community Therapy Team, Poole Intermediate Care Service, Alderney Rehabilitation Wards and Social Services.

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a team dealing with complex discharges from hospitals as well as working with acute illness preventing acute hospital admissions and facilitating in the community. The rotations may include adult/elderly care rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation and acute care.

The role is full-time, working 37.5 hours per week, including shift and weekend working.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.  The DBS levies a charge of £44 and the Trust will recover this cost in instalments from your first 3 salary payments.  This will only apply to candidates who are new to the Trust and not internal staff.

Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service and are able to present a valid DBS certificate will not incur a charge.
