Providing senior leadership to the Finance Directorate, the Deputy Director of Finance will be responsible for a high performing team, planning the Trust’s financial strategy, and maintaining the integrity of the Trust’s financial reporting. This will include delivering timely and accurate financial information to support the decision making processes of the Board of Directors, the Council of Governors, and Operational Management.
The role will contribute significantly to all aspects of the corporate financial management of the Trust. In addition to statutory and management responsibilities, the post assumes a prominent role in corporate development initiatives, negotiations with commissioners, and in dealings with NHS Improvement.
We are looking for an accomplished leader with a demonstrable track record of steering the financial agenda and maintaining sustainable financial performance. Relevant senior financial management experience in complex and dynamic healthcare organisations would be an advantage to help drive financial success in this challenging, complex and dynamic environment.
