You will be required to work as part of the housekeeping team to maintain high standards of cleanliness in all areas of the hospital.
The role will involve an early start, requiring someone with self-motivation and who is able to work cooperatively with others or independently as needed. A flexible attitude is important to respond to different needs of the service.
Although experience of cleaning in a care environment is desirable and would be an advantage, this is not essential as training will be provided.
There are opportunities for extra hours to cover holidays/sickness. Bank Holiday work is paid at enhanced rates.
This post is available 15 hours per week; 4pm— 7pm Monday to Friday.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
