An exciting opportunity has arisen for a caring, compassionate and enthusiastic Nurse Practitioner to join our multi-professional rehabilitation team. The post is based on Jersey and Guernsey Wards at Alderney Hospital, a 48 bedded rehabilitation unit that provides inpatient care. We are committed to improving the patient experience, creating an environment where patients feel safe, cared for and confident in treatment they receive.

Candidates should be a qualified nurse practitioner, have excellent communication skills, comprehensive clinical assessment skills and the ability to provide care as determined by clinical assessments is essential. Ideally, you will hold a non-medical prescribing qualification. You must be able to establish close working relations with colleagues in primary and secondary care, working together to facilitate seamless care and support for individuals.

This is a full-time post for 37.5 hours per week. Pattern of working to be agreed with successful applicant, may include weekends and bank holidays.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The DBS levies a charge of £44 and the Trust will recover this cost in instalments from your first 3 salary payments.

Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service or are able to present a valid portable DBS certificate will not incur a charge.
