We are seeking to recruit a full time Digital Communication Business Admin Apprentice to work within our busy Communications team in Poole. The main function of the Communications team is to get out information to colleagues around the Trust, as well as promote the work we do to a wider audience.

We are looking for someone who would like to develop their administrative skills to join our friendly team. The role includes dealing with a range of telephone queries, arranging meetings, distributing mail, data inputting and problem solving.

In addition to administration support, you’ll be supporting our digital lead officer in maintaining and improving our external website. You’ll also be helping to look after our social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. There will be lots to learn in this varied role but we hope to learn from you too. You’ll be working in a lively, experienced and multi-skilled team at an exciting time for the Trust as we continue to improve.

You will have the excellent opportunity to develop personally and professionally, and will be encouraged to attend our own in-house training courses. Shadowing members of staff in other services at Dorset HealthCare will also be encouraged.

There may be further opportunities to develop the role depending on the successful applicant’s interests and strengths.
