We want to recruit Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapists (High Intensity CBT Therapists) to work within Poole, Purbeck & East Dorset Steps 2 Wellbeing Service, one of the Country’s leading Improving Access to Psychological Therapy services. The successful candidate will provide High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, within a stepped care model, for adults with common mental health problems including depression and a range of anxiety disorders. We are looking for people with energy, enthusiasm and a high level of skills and experience. All staff will receive regular clinical supervision and will work as part of a team.
Good administrative, time management and communication skills are also essential and experience of working within the NHS or a similar organisation is highly desirable.
Candidates should hold BABCP Accreditation. Applicants who provide evidence that they are eligible for BABCP Accreditation may be considered for employment on a lower banding in the first instance, until accreditation has been achieved.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The DBS levies a charge of £44 and the Trust will recover this cost in instalments from your first 3 salary payments. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service and are able to present a valid DBS certificate will not incur a charge.
