Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust has been recognised nationally as a leading provider of excellent mental health, learning disability and addictions services. The Trust invests in its staff and seeks to provide them with opportunities for continuing training and professional development.

We want to recruit Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapists (High Intensity CBT Therapists) to work within Poole, Purbeck & East Dorset Steps 2 Wellbeing Service, one of the Country’s leading Improving Access to Psychological Therapy services. The successful candidate will provide High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, within a stepped care model, for adults with common mental health problems including depression and a range of anxiety disorders. We are looking for people with energy, enthusiasm and a high level of skills and experience. All staff will receive regular clinical supervision and will work as part of a team.

Good administrative, time management and communication skills are also essential and experience of working within the NHS or a similar organisation is highly desirable.

Candidates should hold BABCP Accreditation. Applicants who provide evidence that they are eligible for BABCP Accreditation may be considered for employment on a lower banding in the first instance, until accreditation has been achieved.

Please ensure you have fully read and understood all aspects of the Job Description and Person Specification. Please use the "Supporting Information" space to demonstrate your ability to undertake this role, drawing on your skills knowledge and experience.
