An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic Team Administrator to work within the CAMHS Team in East Dorset, based at Delphwood in Poole.
Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is responsible for the provision of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services across the county. Our teams offer a range of individual, family, group and pharmacological interventions depending on the needs of the child, young person and family/carers. The Trust is also part of the Children and Young People’s Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Programme (IAPT).
The post is for 15 hours per week; due to service need the hours are to be worked on a Thursday and Friday, 0830 - 1700 with an hour lunch break.
We are looking for a highly organised, motivated, and confident professional individual, with good interpersonal skills to provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to this very busy team. You must have excellent communication skills and have the ability to work effectively as both part of a team and on your own initiative.
Duties include answering the telephones, booking appointments with patients, processing referrals, inputting information onto the patient management system (RiO) and providing general administrative support to the Team as a whole.
It is essential that you have previous office experience and are proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and excel spreadsheets. ECDL and RSA 3, or equivalent qualifications are desirable.
Previous experience of working in an NHS setting will be an advantage.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
