We are seeking to recruit a full time Business Admin Apprentice to work with and support the Operational Directors and Chief Operating Officer for the Trust. We are looking for someone who would like to develop their administrative skills and come and work with the PAs for the Operational Directors and Chief Operating Officer. The role includes diary management, arranging meetings and teleconferences, meeting preparation and general administration support.

In addition to this you will support our Emergency Planning and Resilience Officer one day a week with a range of administration tasks, focusing on Business Continuity and Emergency Preparedness for the Trust.

You will need excellent communications skills and will be supported to develop lots of new and current skills including; prioritisation, attention to detail, using your own initiative and the ability to work in a busy and fast paced environment.

You will have the excellent opportunity to develop personally and professionally, and will be encouraged to attend our own in-house training courses. Shadowing members of staff in other services at Dorset HealthCare will also be encouraged.

There may be further opportunities to develop the role depending on the successful applicant’s interests and strengths.

This post is fixed term for 15 months.
