We have a fantastic opportunity for a CAMHS Community Nurse to join the Poole CAMHS Team on a full-time contract. This is a new role within the team, and will focus primarily on care co-ordinating complex cases, risk assessing, working with multi-agencies and carrying out assessments.
It is an exciting time of transformation for CAMHS Pan-Dorset with service developments within areas such as Participation Groups for young people, the development of transition pathways to adult services, the development of evidence based clinical pathways, increasing training package opportunities for staff, as well as an increase in group workshops for young people and families.
We are pleased to confirm that Poole CAMHS has recently piloted a step by step clinic for young people coming into the service, and this role will sit alongside this pathway to support risk cases. As the specific focus of this role is new you will have opportunity to develop the role within the team. Within this role, you will also have an opportunity to mentor both mental health student nurses and Paediatric student nurses within the CAMHS setting.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The DBS levies a charge of £44 and the Trust will recover this cost in instalments from your first 3 salary payments. This will only apply to candidates who are new to the Trust and not internal staff.

Interviews will be held on 1st August.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
