An exciting opportunity has arisen within Poole Intermediate Care Service (PICS) for a Staff Nurse to join the Team.   PICS are a multi-disciplinary team who manage acute illness, preventing admission to hospital and also facilitating complex discharges. Good clinical and communication skills are required to provide care to patients being nursed within their own homes.

22.5 hours are available and will include shift working as the service operates 365 days a year 8.00am to 8.00pm. and there is a need to use your car to visit patients in their own homes.

This is a good opportunity for newly qualified applicants, for those wanting to work in the community and for those who really want to make a difference to people's lives.

As a key member of the team you will find the experience challenging, rewarding and varied.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The DBS levies a charge of £40 and the Trust will recover this cost in instalments from your first 3 salary payments.

This will only apply to candidates who are new to the Trust and not internal staff. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service and are able to present a valid DBS certificate will not incur a charge.

Interviews will be held virtually on 21st July 2020 via Microsoft Teams.
