An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our busy Community Nursing team in Gillingham, Dorset.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is seeking a new challenge, to broaden their range of nursing skills and knowledge in caring for people in their own environment as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

You will need an understanding of the current primary care , including the management of long term conditions  and have excellent communication skills. You will provide high quality clinical care when caring for patients in the community setting within the Gillingham area.

Full induction and training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Applicants must have their own car and full driving licence.

We would welcome applications from newly qualified nurses and we provide a very comprehensive and fully supported Preceptorship Programme for newly qualified healthcare professionals

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The DBS levies a charge of £40 and the Trust will recover this cost in instalments from your first 3 salary payments.

This will only apply to candidates who are new to the Trust and not internal staff.
