The Dorset Community Pain Service is a Pan Dorset Service providing support and treatment to people with persistent pain. We are an interdisciplinary team consisting of Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physio’s, Psychologists, Pain Consultants and Administrators. We have 3 main teams based East, North and West delivering services from multiple locations across the county. We also run a central admin team based at the Atrium Health Centre in Dorchester.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Administrator to work as part of the Pan Dorset Admin Team. This role will be deputy to the Operational Manager ensuring an effective and efficient admin function exists across the county as well as providing an effective PA function to the Service Manager.
The role will be based at the Atrium in Dorchester (although could be open to discussion) however travel to our other bases to provide support to admin colleagues will be an expectation of the role.

Employment in this post requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The DBS levies a charge of £26 and the Trust will recover this cost in instalments from your first 3 salary payments. This will only apply to candidates who are new to the Trust and not internal staff.
Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service and are able to present a valid DBS certificate will not incur a charge.
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
