Full time Paediatric Speech and Language Therapists, fixed term and permanent
We are seeking enthusiastic, forward thinking, team players to join our friendly and supportive team of speech and language therapists in Dorset. These posts would suit newly qualified therapists or a therapist with some experience who would like to build on their skills with a new challenge.
The post holders will provide a service to pre-school and school aged children with a range of speech, language and communication needs. Caseloads are managed flexibly by each team, which enables staff to move around and gain different experiences.
New staff are well supported with a range of clinical lead specialists for support and guidance as well as peer support groups and 1:1 clinical supervision and management support. New initiatives are taken forward within the context of a Professional Development Group.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The DBS levies a charge of £44 and the Trust will recover this cost in instalments from your first 3 salary payments. This will only apply to candidates who are new to the Trust and not internal staff.
Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service and are able to present a valid DBS certificate will not incur a charge.
Interview Date: 9 May 2018
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
