The Estates Maintenance Team require an Estates Officer Operations Mechanical currently based at our Forston Office.

The team deliver pre-planned maintenance and quality repair services to a variety of Trust premises which include Hospitals, Health Centres, Mental Health Units and Administrative Buildings within Dorset. The purpose of this role within the team is to provide leadership, problem solving, support and effective management.

A programme of training and mentoring is in place and you will have the opportunity to undertake ongoing career development training.

A current full driving licence is essential and you should have previous experience in a demanding maintenance environment. You should be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of health service mechanical systems and reactive and preventative maintenance measures, be flexible and adaptive providing leadership and support to others. You will also be required to adopt numerous appointed and/or competent person roles within the HTM frameworks and be part of an out of hour's on-call rota.

In addition to your salary there is an on-call allowance, Pension Scheme and additional sum up to £3,500 p.a. Recruitment and Retention Premium, plus transport and work wear provided.
