We are looking for an enthusiastic administrator to join our Safeguarding Children and Adults Services. Our team is passionate about safeguarding children and adults from harm and abuse. You will work as part of a larger administrative team across both the safeguarding children and adult services to provide administrative support to both, working under the Named Nurse & Service Manager for Safeguarding Children. The safeguarding team covers Bournemouth, Poole and Dorset.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic assistant administrator with an understanding of the safeguarding children and adults agendas for health. The successful applicant will work across both the Safeguarding teams to provide a "Think Family" approach to Safeguarding.
The post will include:
- The development, management and maintenance of a full range of office systems • The preparation, taking and circulation of minutes, action plans and agendas for meetings • Developing databases, spreadsheets and diagrams in order to organise and display data, • Managing incoming and outgoing electronic and other information • Assist in the development of information management in order to improve systems

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
