An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Steps 2 Wellbeing in Dorset a successful Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service.
The Steps 2 Wellbeing service serves a large, and diverse area across Dorset and has established a strong reputation within primary care for offering timely, effective, evidence based treatments.
The team are looking to recruit a permanent full time Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (High Intensity CBT Therapist) for West Dorset.
The successful candidates will provide one to one and group High Intensity CBT within a stepped care model for adults with common mental health problems, including depression and a range of anxiety disorders. We are looking for someone with energy, enthusiasm, a high level of skills and experience and you will work as part of a team, receive regular clinical supervision and be able to access a high quality in-house CPD programme.
Good administrative, time management and communication skills are also essential. Experience of working within the NHS or similar organisation is highly desirable and applicants must hold BABCP Accreditation.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The DBS levies a charge of £44 and the Trust will recover this cost in instalments from your first 3 salary payments.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
