We are looking for a part time Team Secretary within the Central Locality Mental Health Services.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Team Secretary within the Central Locality Mental Health Services covering the Bridport and Dorchester area. The post holder will provide a comprehensive administrative/secretarial service for the Bridport Adult Community Mental Health Team.
This is a part time job share position working 22.5 hours per week, with a preference to the hours being worked as three full days Wednesday - Friday.
The successful candidate will work within the existing administrative team who provide a flexible administrative service to the specialist Mental Health Teams. Your role will include data inputting, audio typing and word processing together with a high level of communication.
You should have an approachable manner with a calm and unflappable nature to deal with a busy working environment as you will be the first point of contact for people wishing to access this specialist service.
You should be computer literate with good typing skills including audio-typing which are essential, as well as a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and other computer applications. Experience of working in a busy team would be an advantageous, together with excellent communication skills and good customer care skills preferably within an NHS setting.
You will be well organised and have the ability to work as part of a team as well as being self-motivated and able to use your own initiative.
It may be necessary to work across the Locality to provide cover during periods of staff absence as required.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Interviews will take place on the 21st March 2018.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
