Are you passionate about making a positive difference and supporting people to make the most of their lives?

Sexual Health Dorset are looking to recruit enthusiastic, highly motivated Contraceptive and Sexual Health nurses with proven knowledge and experience to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team within the Bournemouth Sexual Health hub.  Sexual Health Dorset is working to develop and improve sexual health services across Dorset and is moving towards an integrated model of care where CASH, GUM, Targeted Outreach, Early Medical Termination and Psychosexual Medicine work together to support the holistic sexual health needs of our service users. The successful applicants will be capable of working autonomously to provide direct clinical care and will issue a range of contraception and sexual health screening.

We have 2 part-time vacancies, one permanent post for 24 hours per week and one fixed term post for 25 hours per week, initially for one year but with a possible extension.

It is expected that applicants are prepared to work flexible hours working Monday-Saturday and may be required to travel to other locations across Dorset.

Employment in this post requires a Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.  The DBS levies a charge of £44 and the Trust will recover this cost in instalments from your first 3 salary payments.  This will only apply to candidates who are new to the Trust and not internal staff.

Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service and are able to present a valid DBS certificate will not incur a charge.

Interviews are scheduled to take place on 25th July.
