This is an exciting opportunity to support the on-going development of the Leg Ulcer Service within Dorset. The post holder will be based within the Bournemouth, Poole and East Dorset areas and provide occasional cover to other areas within Dorset when the other post holder is on leave.

The post holder will be responsible for the operational day to day management of this service and provide support to the Leg Ulcer team. The role will include providing specialist advice to health care professionals, patients, carers in a variety of settings.

In conjunction and with the Leg Ulcer Nurse Specialist, the post holder will actively support the delivery of an educational programme on assessment and management of leg ulcers.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The DBS levies a charge of £44 and the Trust will recover this cost in instalments from your first 3 salary payments. This will only apply to candidates who are new to the Trust and not internal staff.

Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service and are able to present a valid DBS certificate will not incur a charge.
