We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging individual who would enjoy meeting people to support them to recognise their aspirations as part of their journey with the Recovery Education Centre. This would include supporting students of the Recovery Education Centre to complete their individual learning plans and signposting to applicable courses within the Recovery Education Centre and/or to external organisations. Students of the Recovery Education Centre may be people who access mental health services, their carers or supporters and staff working within mental health services.
Predominately the post holder will be working with students of the Recovery Education Centre, however also key to the role is supporting the day to day administrative tasks and liaison with other members of the Recovery Education Centre team to organise and deliver an efficient office system.
The Recovery Education Centre is a partnership service between Dorset HealthCare and the Dorset Mental Health Forum; this is known as the Wellbeing and Recovery Partnership. Central to the partnership are the values of recovery, wellbeing and co-production between lived experience of health conditions and professional expertise. You would be employed by Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust however you will work closely, and in partnership with the Dorset Mental Health Forum. Whilst our main office base is in Bournemouth, the service is pan Dorset and the role requires travel.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
