Nightingale Court is a 13 bedded, adult inpatient Complex Care/Rehabilitation Unit where the multidisciplinary team uses a person-centred approach to support the recovery of patients.
We are looking to appoint a conscientious and well organised Staff Nurse, who has the skills to carry out key tasks such as effective engagement, assessments, relapse prevention and therapeutic interventions plus the ability to work with individuals to enhance their community skills.

The people with who the team work have severe and enduring mental health issues with complex needs such as alcohol and substance misuse, social anxiety and/or cognitive impairment.
Our aim is to support patients whilst enhancing their understanding and effective management of their mental, physical and social wellbeing with the ultimate goal of living back in the community with the indicated level of support to meet their needs.
You will be required to undertake the Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression Course and it is a condition of your employment you successfully complete all aspects of it. If this is not achieved you will be unable to commence working within this post.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The DBS levies a charge of £44 and the Trust will recover this cost in instalments from your first 3 salary payments. This will only apply to candidates who are new to the Trust and not internal staff. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service and are able to present a valid DBS certificate will not incur a charge.
