The Trust is seeking to appoint to the following vacancy:
Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry - East Dorset for 10 PAs per week.

This is a post for a full-time General Adult Psychiatrist working in Bournemouth. You will work full time within the Bournemouth West Locality Community Mental Health Team which provides comprehensive community based services to patients registered with general practitioners within Bournemouth.

You will be expected to work with the community team to cover emergency work and to keep waiting lists within the Trust agreed limits.

The team base is currently at the Turbary Park Centre where outpatient facilities are available. In line with the Trust's desire to improve patient access to services, it is expected that patients will also be seen in community settings when appropriate e.g. primary care clinics, home visits.

Employment in this post requires a Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The DBS levies a charge of £44 and the Trust will recover this cost in instalments from your first 3 salary payments.

Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service or are able to present a valid portable DBS certificate will not incur a charge.
