An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified District Nurse to manage the patient caseload and community nurse team in the Bournemouth Central Locality. You will be responsible for leading a team of Community Staff Nurses and Health Care Assistants to provide high quality, evidenced based nursing care to patients in their home environment.

The post requires excellent communication skills, flexibility with duties and strong leadership, decision making skills and clinical expertise. The post requires the successful candidate to work flexible hours including weekends and bank holidays.

If you do not hold the DN qualification we would expect a commitment to undertaking the Community Nursing Sister development role and accredited modules.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The DBS levies a charge of £44 and the Trust will recover this cost in instalments from your first 3 salary payments.
