An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Therapist to join our Bournemouth and Christchurch CAMHS team. You would be expected to work autonomously providing a highly specialist Family Therapy service to young people and their families referred to the service, as well as being confident in consultation, supervision and training of colleagues.

The Family Therapist makes a vital contribution to team discussion and care planning and in the assessment, conceptualisation and treatment of our young people and their families who present a range of complex difficulties. Although you would be working independently within the service there would be strong links to a team of family therapists working across a range of CAMHs settings locally.

You will also hold a clinical caseload and undertake appropriate mental health assessments of children and young people referred to CAMHS. There is an expectation that you will work closely across the multi-agency networks, have excellent communication skills and an ability to build effective multi-agency relationships.

If you are an experienced Family Therapist and would like to influence these developments whilst delivering direct clinical work to families then we want to hear from you.
