Pebble Lodge is a purpose built, 10 bed, general adolescent unit for young people aged between 12 and 18 years who are experiencing acute and severe mental health problems.  Pebble Lodge also provides an education and day programme service for these young people.

We are seeking to recruit a flexible, enthusiastic and motivated Mental Health Support Worker to join our progressive multidisciplinary team.  We pride ourselves on the quality of our service and the skills and dedication of our staff; we are committed to providing opportunities for professional development in order to continue to provide a high quality service.

You will carry out assigned tasks involving direct care in support of, and supervised by, a Registered Nurse.

The working hours of these posts will be flexible to meet the needs of the service, which could include Out of Hours cover including evening, nights and weekend work.

You will be required to undertake a Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression course and it is a condition of your employment that you successfully complete all aspects of this course; if this is not achieved you will not be able to commence working in the post. 

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
