We are seeking a full time Band 7 Senior Sister / Charge Nurse to lead the Portman Unit Treatment Centre and Outpatients Department team at Blandford Community Hospital.
If you are a senior Nurse with high standards and a passion to support high quality person centred care, with leadership experience in a day surgery unit/outpatients setting this exciting opportunity may be the new challenge you are looking for in 2018.
Our Treatment centre provides treatments to relieve pain, musculoskeletal disorders and podiatric and maxillary facial surgery. The outpatients department hosts a variety of outpatients clinics provided by consultants, nursing staff and allied health professionals.
Other services within the Hospital include a minor injuries unit, x-ray department, an inpatient ward, physiotherapy department, Children, Adult & Older Persons Mental health and integrated community rehabilitation teams. We also have a patient, staff and visitor dining room serving delicious home cooked food and our services are supported by a friendly Hospital facilities team.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The DBS levies a charge of £44 and the Trust will recover this cost in instalments from your first 3 salary payments. This will only apply to candidates who are new to the Trust and not internal staff. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service and are able to present a valid DBS certificate will not incur a charge.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
