We are looking for a highly enthusiastic and passionate Cognitive Behaviour Therapist to join the North Dorset CAMHS team. This position is offered on a permanent basis and is a full time (37.5 hours per week).
This is an extremely exciting time to be joining our Core CAMH service because we are moving into a period of transformation whereby we will be adopting the THRIVE model of service delivery. CAMHs provides comprehensive evidence based therapies for CYP and families as well as working in a consultation and stabilisation framework with the wider system e.g. education, social care and child health.
The teams are made up of a vibrant mix of clinical professionals including family therapists, primary mental health workers, psychiatric liaison, occupational therapists, clinical psychologists, child and adolescent psychiatrists, crisis workers, parenting support workers and specialist neurodevelopmental/behaviour support workers.
Core CAMHs is part of a wider network of children and young people's emotional health and wellbeing services, to also include specialist LAC psychology services, LD-CAMHs, Young Persons Eating Disorder services, early intervention services and the inpatient service. In addition to working in the C-CAMH service, you would become part of a wider group of child and adolescent psychologists and psychotherapists and there are ongoing opportunities around CPD and peer support and supervision.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The DBS levies a charge of £44 and the Trust will recover this cost in instalments from your first 3 salary payments. This will only apply to candidates who are new to the Trust and not internal staff.

Interviews are scheduled to take place on 21st August 2018.
